WooCommerce Integration

WooCommerce is the most popular open source e-commerce platform in the world.

There is a plugin for the WooCommerce payment gateway that allows your customers to pay with cryptocurrency via SMARTy Pay.

SMARTy Pay plugin installation

From the Github repository, download a zip file with the latest release from the Releases section.

From your WordPress administration panel, go to Plugins → Add New and click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.

Alternatively, you can move the zip file into the wp-content/plugins folder of your website and unzip it.

You will then need to go to your WordPress administration Plugins page and activate the plugin.

Plugin configuration

You will need to set up an account on SMARTy Pay.

Choose WooCommerce → Settings in the admin's console and proceed to the Payments tab. Choose SMARTy Pay in the payment gateways list and proceed to the settings.

Fill in Merchant API Key and Merchant API Secret - these values can be found in your SMARTy Pay Merchant Admin.

You can leave the rest of the settings as they are.

After saving your settings, you will have SMARTy Pay payments available on your website.

You might also need to choose the correct currency in WooCommerce → Settings → General.

After you activate the SMARTy Pay plugin, new currencies will become available in the list.
