Onboarding
We will review all the necessary steps for creating a merchant account in the Smarty Pay system.
Know Your Business (KYB) procedure
Please note that after registration your current access is limited to TestNet only.
To begin accepting MainNet payments, completing the KYB (Know Your Business) process is mandatory. Please send a description of your business to [email protected] to start the verification process, which may take up to 2 working days.
During the KYB process, we may request the following documents:
- Company information (legal name, address, certificate of incorporation)
- UBO (Full Name, ID, Source of Funds)
- Director (Full Name, ID)
The complete list will be provided by your account manager in response to your email.
Merchant account registration
1. Open Smarty Pay Dashboard.
Be sure that you check all preliminary steps before the beginning.
Open Dashboard page to start the onboarding process.
2. Connect by any choice, for example by MetaMask.
Your MetaMask extension will pop up to confirm the connection.
3. Accept Smarty Pay’s terms of service to proceed.
MetaMask will ask you to approve your logging into Smarty Pay.
4. Press Sign to start setting up your new account.
5. Fill in your company’s information (you will be able to edit this later).
Congratulations! The new Smarty Pay merchant account is created!
Welcome to your merchant dashboard.
By default, you enter the merchant dashboard in the TestNet mode. It is useful when you want to test the application on your website using test money. You can create payments for crypto tokens in TestNet.
MainNet access
After success KYB procedure, your account will have full access to MainNet activity.
If you want to switch to MainNet, use the button at the top of the page.
